Brief Bio

My name is Raymond Centner - I am an officer in the United States Navy.  Prior to joining the Navy, I spent most of my time doing mathematics research - my focus was primarily in the areas of complex analysis, approximation theory, and mathematics education (I've posted a few of my articles on the following page, so feel free to have a look if interested).  Outside of my professional life, I spend a lot of time outdoors - my favorite activities range from running to listening to live bluegrass music.
